When it comes to music, Duncan Christopher is just not that good – although he holds many attributes of some of the best heroes of Dungeons and Dragons, which Duncan plays often. For twenty years, Duncan Christopher has stuffed inside his grief over his father's untimely suicide, his sister's lack of compassion, his mother's continued silence, and his cousin's over-estimation of his talent. Now on the karaoke stage at a fancy night-club in the awkward rock mecca, Tulsa, Oklahoma, it all spills out. Duncan Christopher must turn and face the awkward, even if that awkward is himself.
