Jane moves back home to discover herself as an artist, only to be left alone as each of her family members announces their departure. With each of them retreated to different corners of the globe, Jane uses her imagination to escape the loneliness and isolation she feels. In a story enhanced with collage-like animation, we follow Jane as she embarks on a personal journey from the plains of Texas to the jungles of Africa and in so doing discovers what she ultimately wants: a stronger connection with her family.
