Jake and Dana's relationship is stuck in routine. Day after day they see each other, occupy the same space, and even manage a word or two of conversation, but the passion is gone. While Jake is at work during the day, Dana stays home, in sweats and slippers, and occupies her time with crafts and artistic projects that only take up her time yet don't fulfill her. The one thing she is passionate about is her cup of tea. She lives for her special china cup full of the piping hot drink. Slowly, Jake begins to only care about the next-door neighbor. Through the kitchen window, he becomes infatuated with the woman next door. She is beautiful, new, dangerous, and, most importantly, not Dana. Jake quickly takes to constantly washing the dishes in the kitchen sink so he can spend time staring through the window at her, all the while hiding his boyish crush from Dana. But Dana isn't stupid. And she has her own little secret.
