Long Way Home is a moving story about a woman's journey in Iraq. Despite the war in Iraq, Lisa Lawson spent two brave years on three seperate tours to help rebuild. During each journey, she faced opposing challenges and life threatening situations. However, upon her return home she accomplished to defeat the contrary. She documents the experiences as they happen. Upon her return home, Lisa tells her dangerous yet compelling story of helping a broken down country.

Heather Lawson really did an excellent job of sharing her mother with the rest of us. We don't think of middle aged ladies marching off to war, but this war has been different. I was going to ask about the headphones at the Q & A but someone beat me to it.
