Dark family secrets cast a shadow over Bill's recovery, in this second chapter to Don Hertzfeldt's 'Everything will be OK'. Like all of Don Hertzfeldt's films, 'I am so proud of you' was single-handedly animated and photographed by hand without the use of computers. All of the special effects were meticulously created directly on film, using traditional double exposures, in-camera mattes, and innovative experimental techniques. The 22 minute short took close to two years to complete.
